Frequently asked questions
- What does the Insights page actually track?
- Four editorial signals make up the AI Weather: model releases (new launches and capability upgrades), funding activity (VC rounds and AI startup investments), regulatory moves (policy and compliance shifts), and adoption surge (enterprise rollouts and user milestones). Each is scored 1–10 daily.
- How is the AI Weather temperature calculated?
- It's a composite of the four sub-signals on a 0–100 scale. Mild (0–59) is a quiet news day. Warm (60–79) means notable moves. Hot (80–89) is high-momentum. On Fire (90+) is reserved for category-defining launches like a new frontier model or a 9-figure round.
- Where does the data come from?
- Editorial — the Relve team monitors model release notes, public funding announcements, regulatory dockets, and enterprise adoption signals daily, then publishes a scored summary. We're not scraping press releases.
- Is there a historical archive?
- Yes — the Weather Archive page logs the daily temperature and contributing stories so you can track how busy the AI landscape was on any given day. Useful for retrospectives and pattern-spotting.
