    Overview

    About this event

Config 2026 is the annual conference for product creators hosted by Figma, returning to San Francisco from June 23 to 25 at Moscone Center. Featuring more than 125 speakers and over 50 sessions, the three-day event offers product managers, designers and developers the opportunity to learn about the future of design and product development, engage with industry experts, explore the latest Figma features and products, and network with over 8,000 attendees from across the United States and around the world.

Config is the primary venue where Figma announces its most significant product launches and shares the roadmap for how design and development tooling is evolving. The 2026 edition centres on AI workflows, design agents and design systems built for the AI era. Full details are on the official site at config.figma.com.

The conference runs across two full content days on June 24 and 25 at Moscone Center South, with registration and the Config Commons community experience beginning on June 23.

    Config 2026: Latest Updates

    8 topics

Config 2026 is days away. Here is everything confirmed from official Figma sources, including the Figma blog: Config speakers, looking ahead to 2026 and Figma release notes.

    01

In-person tickets sold out, virtual access free

In-person tickets for Config 2026 are sold out at $899. Virtual registration is available and always free. All keynotes will be recorded and available on YouTube the same day. All breakout sessions will be recorded and available on YouTube after Config.

    02

Figma AI agent beta launched ahead of Config

Figma's AI agent began rolling out to Figma Design users on May 20, 2026. The agent is available to users on Professional, Organisation and Enterprise plans. It generates and remixes designs, automates repetitive work and stays inside the guardrails of your design system. Beginning May 20, the agent became the new entry point for First Draft functionality, offering a more powerful way to explore, iterate and refine designs. See the Figma's AI agent help article for details.

    03

Figma Make desktop app launches in closed beta

Figma Make launched in a limited closed beta on May 28, 2026, introducing direct editing, annotations, chat-driven edits and PR creation from inside the design tool. Make connects to a local codebase and allows designers to annotate elements, adjust spacing and swap components on the live interface, with an AI coding agent making corresponding code edits. When the result looks right, users can commit changes and open a pull request without touching a terminal.

    04

    Config Makeathon: $100K prize pool

Figma ran its first Config-branded Makeathon, co-hosted with Contra, from June 4 to 18. Participants built something with Figma Make for a shot at $100K in prizes, including a $50K grand prize. All participants received Figma Pro free for the duration, and the first 10,000 to pre-register before June 3 unlocked early access to Figma's design agent beta.

    05

    Anthropic and OpenAI integrations confirmed

Figma has established partnerships with Anthropic and OpenAI to integrate AI command-line interface tools, including Claude Code and Codex, into its design software. The move positions Figma as part of a broader shift toward AI-assisted workflows that bridge design and development, allowing teams to move faster from concept to implementation.

    06

    Figma MCP server updates

Figma added four MCP server updates ahead of Config: use_figma for Figma Slides allowing external agents to create and update slide presentations built with templates, uploaded local font support, downloadable assets export, and Xcode compatibility for bringing mobile designs into app flows and preview screens.

    07

Investor and analyst session confirmed for June 24

Figma will host an Investor and Analyst Session at Config 2026 on Wednesday June 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM Pacific Time. A live webcast of the session will be available on Figma's Investor Relations website at investor.figma.com. A replay will be available following the event.

    08

Community satellite events across San Francisco

Community members across San Francisco are organising unofficial satellite events including happy hours, dinners, morning meetups and a comedy night around Config week. These are community-organised and not official Figma events. Submit a community event at config.figma.com.
